Fuel The Movement

A student can become a grassroots organizer with a full year of training.
They'll carry these skills the rest of their life, 50% of SFER alumni go into education/ advocacy.

Sends one student to Summit, SFER’s premier 3-day leadership training.

Exposure to this wider network of peers and professionals sparks life-long commitment to civic engagement.

A local student can receive a community organizing scholarship.
Our top students are awarded for their passionate effort and long hours leading this movement.

A student can be trained to speak about their local schools to media.
SFER has earned over 200 media hits each year since 2015 elevating student voice and stories.
Materials can be bought to make posters, signs, and art for public actions.
Putting into motion students' first interaction with public demonstration is where it all starts.

Food and snack for college campus recruitment meetings.
Our movement is dependent upon building a broader, more engaged membership base and a deeper bench of student leaders.

Printing for flyers while students are door knocking and talking to neighbors.
Members are sharing information about the state of their schools and how everyone can engage.
